North Point State Park 5K Fun Run

Start your morning with the North Point State Park 5K Fun Run, starting at 7:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at North Point State Park. The flat, scenic 3.1-mile run starts at the park's rear waterfront parking lot and follows the access road to the main entrance, where runners loop back to the parking lot finish line, where music, refreshments, awards, and drawings await you.

Registration fee is $30 for runners and walkers (+ processing fee), and $25 for first responders and students (use this link for a $5 discount).

The event takes place on the site of the old Bay Shore Park, where all of Baltimore County came to enjoy swimming, hiking, boating, concessions, and rides. The race is a fundraiser for the newly accredited non-profit Greater Dundalk Community Development Organization (GDCDO), with a mission to support housing assistance, small business, and the underserved.
